TagTag.com is one of the largest one stop portal for mobile users. In
addition to 100,000 mobile sites hosted, it provides a directory of free
ringtones, pictures for mobile phones, Java games, and mobile mail to
all its visitors.
Started in 2001 as a WAP building and hosting portal TagTag expanded the
range of its services to mobile mail and mobile site emulation.
TagTag is well positioned to provide advertisers with the opportunity to
present their products and services to a worldwide audience of tech
savvy mobile site builders and mobile users in general.
Currently, there are two types of users visiting TagTag. The first group
consists of mobile pages authors which use TagTag to build and host their
mobile sites. The second group consists of visitors who are interested in
browsing mobile sites (either hosted at TagTag or at other domains using
TagTag WAP emulator). Based on the log files analysis WAP authors generated
20% of impressions and visitors the remaining 80% of impressions.
The ringtones, pictures, and Java games directory which have been introduced
only recently are expected to generate substantial traffic in the future.
Total monthly number of pages served by tagtag.com is over 150 million.
There are 57 countries which generate more than 100,000 impressions per
month. Since TagTag serves web as well as mobile traffic, the traffic is
further divided into web traffic and WAP (mobile phones) traffic.

We can identify mobile users by operator, since all mobile users access mobile sites via mobile operators gateways. The following table gives breakdown of tagtag WAP traffic by major mobile operators. Note that the number of WAP request does not correspond exactly to the number of WAP sites served, since every picture on WAP page is also counted as a request.
